Does Exposure Analytics know who the device belongs to?

No we don’t, all the data collected is GDPR compliant. We perform one-way encryption (hash), add a secret ‘salt’ and truncate the MAC address to completely de-personalise it. It can’t then be linked back to an individual. We take privacy very seriously, and our solution is not intended to track individuals, but instead to garner insight into numbers and movements of groups of people.
